First America Homes is a homebuilding company that originated as a division of the Signorelli Company, founded by Danny Signorelli in 1994. Danny Signorelli, a recent college graduate from Texas A&M University, had a passion for land development and an entrepreneurial mindset. He initially focused on 3rd party brokerage and ‘fee’ development and started his journey by maxing out 10 credit cards to fund his business. This entrepreneurial spirit and dedication led to the establishment of the Signorelli Company, which was involved in various real estate development projects.
In 2010, Danny Signorelli, now a successful land developer in Montgomery County, recognized an opportunity in the market to provide affordable homes to families who might not have considered homeownership attainable. To seize this opportunity, he decided to create a dedicated homebuilding division within the Signorelli Company. This division was named First America Homes.
Under the leadership of Dave Barnhart, who became the President of First America Homes, the company embarked on a journey of growth and expansion. Starting with only a handful of lots in 2010, First America Homes quickly grew by building affordable homes.
