The housing market is a tough ride during these economic times, but Cory and Milly Kammerdiener are taking their real estate business on a different path with their approach to first-time buyers.
NewHomePrograms.com, the Christian-based real estate brokerage firm they founded, assists first-time home buyers with personal attention and, if needed, with a free credit-enhancement program before attacking the house-purchasing process. The business started as a website in 2005 and was established as a real estate corporation in February 2010.
The website’s success is evident in the Houston real estate market. According to Cory Kammerdiener, the site has grown from 1,800 visitors per month to over 9,000 per month in a one-year period. In addition to operating their real estate venture, they also serve as part-time hosts and music ministers for the Great Final Harvest of God World Outreach Ministries, which is led and ministered by Milly’s father, Francis Baillie On Tuesdays, the Kammerdieners host Bible Study; on Thursdays, there is prayer service; and on Sundays, a praise-and-worship service with Baillie. Yvonne Laredo, who had never owned a home, watched as her current home in Spring was built from the ground up.
